AWARD AMOUNT:

$ 157,670*

PURPOSE: The Contra Costa County Juvenile Drug Court will use grant funds to continue program operations. The goals of the enhancement grant are to maintain fiscal integrity of the court and to continue treatment services to increase positive client outcomes. Contra Costa County continues to provide treatment for clients who are difficult to "reach," which includes weekend drug testing, drama and art therapy, anger management classes, and vocational skills. Youth will continue to be involved in local business employment, locally-sponsored job training programs, and multifamily intervention groups. The court will collaborate with the school board regarding after-school programming, Asian Pacific Psychological Services, and the Familias Unidas Hispanic treatment agency.
