AWARD AMOUNT:

$298,538*

PURPOSE: The Supreme Court of Virginia will use grant funds to conduct process and outcome evaluations and cost-benefit analyses of 13 operational adult and juvenile drug courts. A quasi-experimental design will be used for the outcome evaluations and a cost-benefit model for evaluating drug courts will be developed. The evaluations will produce a descriptive data profile of drug court clients and therapeutic components of drug courts will be identified.
