Podcasts for Professionals
The responsibilities of State Administering Agencies under the Justice Assistance Grant Program is covered in a new two-part podcast launched by the Office of Justice Programs’ Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA).
During an interview with BJA Acting Director Jim Burch, Michael Kane, the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency, discusses his agency’s use of criminal justice advisory boards and a competitive grant process to encourage evidence-based strategies. In Part 2 of the series, Kane focuses on how his agency promotes local involvement in decision making and strives to enhance information sharing throughout the Pennsylvania justice system.
BJA’s podcasts are designed to provide information on justice innovations and best practices. The new podcasts are available under the Justice Matters subject heading found in the left column of the podcast player.
