DNA Training for Forensic Analysts
As a partner of the President's DNA Initiative, NIJ offers free, self-paced, online courses to help forensic analysts identify, analyze and present DNA evidence.

Also available are courses on forensic DNA for law enforcement officers and investigators, evidence technicians and officers of the court.

Summer Forensic Science Workshops
NIJ is sponsoring summer forensic science workshops through a grant to the Forensic Science Training Institute at Cedar Crest College. Courses include:

• Measurement practices in the proper use and calibration of balances.
• Digital photography.
• Statistical interpretation of forensic DNA.
• Statistical analysis of laboratory data.
• Animal hair identification.

Registration and travel are free for public laboratory employees!
