Please respond to the following questions
additional 8x11 sheets may be attached if necessary

1. DESCRIBE THE IMPACT THAT VOCA FUNDS HAVE HAD ON YOUR PROGRAM'S ABILITY TO MEET THE NEEDS OF CRIME
   VICTIMS.
The VOCA allocated to our program allows us to stretch state dollars to help victims of crime. We used the Federal monies to help victims of crime.

2. HOW DO YOU MEASURE YOUR PROGRAM'S EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS IN REDUCING THE FINANCIAL IMPACT
OF CRIME ON VICTIMS? WHAT ARE THE RESULTS?
We process all pending claims within a period of four to six months. However, all information needed must be collected before a claim can be presented for payment.

3. DID YOUR STATE USE VOCA ADMINSTRATIVE FUNDS?   Yes
IF YOUR STATE USED VOCA ADMINSTRATIVE FUNDS, PLEASE DESCRIBE THE IMPACT THESE FUNDS HAVE HAD ON YOUR
STATE'S ABILITY TO PROVIDE COMPENSATION OR IMPROVE VICTIM SERVICES.
Federal moneies used for administrative expenses made it possible for our employees to participate in the annual National Training Conference of the Office of Victims of Crime, and other smaller conferences in order to receive training whihc will better enable the agency to meet the needs of crime victims. We also used the monies to purchase small calendars for the State of Alabama's law enforcement officers.
