1. DESCRIBE THE IMPACT THAT VOCA FUNDS HAVE HAD ON YOUR PROGRAM'S ABILITY TO MEET THE NEEDS OF CRIME
   VICTIMS.
VOCA funds have allowed the Ohio Attorney General's office to pay out $17,140,521 in the past fiscal year. VOCA funds have allowed us to continue the "60 in 06" campaign started last fiscal year. The processing time has decreased by 34% on original Fact and Finding Desicions. 2006 fiscal year averaged 97.46 days compared to 63.43 days in 2007.

2. HOW DO YOU MEASURE YOUR PROGRAM'S EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS IN REDUCING THE FINANCIAL IMPACT
OF CRIME ON VICTIMS? WHAT ARE THE RESULTS?
Our program measures efficiency and effectiveness in several catagories: average processing time, number of claims filed and number of appeals filed. The average processing time decreased by 34 days from 97.46 in 2006 to 63.43 days in 2007. The number of claims filed was 8302 compared to 7920 last year. Number of appeals filed decreased from 99 in 2006 to 97 in 2007.

3. DID YOUR STATE USE VOCA ADMINSTRATIVE FUNDS?   No
IF YOUR STATE USED VOCA ADMINSTRATIVE FUNDS, PLEASE DESCRIBE THE IMPACT THESE FUNDS HAVE HAD ON YOUR
