1. DESCRIBE THE IMPACT THAT VOCA FUNDS HAVE HAD ON YOUR PROGRAM'S ABILITY TO MEET THE NEEDS OF CRIME VICTIMS. Section III b is Included in “Assault." an "other" is attempted murder, attempted SA(Sexual Assault), Stop a Crime, etc. Section IV "Other" RELOCATION $88,585.67; TRANSPORTATION $29,457.46; OTHER $26,517.82. ====== VOCA funds are essential to the success of the State of Alaska’s crime victim compensation program. These funds have paid for medical services provided uninsured victims who have been critically injured; relocated innocent victims living in life-threatening and dangerous situations; supported minors whose parents or legal guardians have been murdered; and many other services and financial assistance too numerous to mention. Without these funds, many innocent victims would go without essential financial help.

2. HOW DO YOU MEASURE YOUR PROGRAM'S EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS IN REDUCING THE FINANCIAL IMPACTH OF CRIME ON VICTIMS? WHAT ARE THE RESULTS? The performance of this program is measured in two ways. The first is the length of time from receipt of a claim to the Board’s determination. The program’s performance exceeded the target set by DOJ and processed claims in approximately 70 days. The second is the percentage of funds awarded versus administrative costs. The program’s performance exceeded the goal of 25% Administrative and 75% Direct Awards. The Board awarded 81% of its total budget directly to crime victims and their service providers.

3. DID YOUR STATE USE VOCA ADMINSTRATIVE FUNDS? NO IF YOUR STATE USED VOCA ADMINSTRATIVE FUNDS, PLEASE DESCRIBE THE IMPACT THESE FUNDS HAVE HAD ON YOUR STATE'S ABILITY TO PROVIDE COMPENSATION OR IMPROVE VICTIM SERVICES. No.
