1. DESCRIBE THE IMPACT THAT VOCA FUNDS HAVE HAD ON YOUR PROGRAM'S ABILITY TO MEET THE NEEDS OF CRIME VICTIMS. Section IV Other: Attorney Fee's ======== Missouri Crime Victims' Compensation was able to increase the payout limit from $15,000.00 to $25,000.00 and we no longer use the $50.00 deductible. We no longer look at life insurance as a collateral source.

2. HOW DO YOU MEASURE YOUR PROGRAM'S EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS IN REDUCING THE FINANCIAL IMPACTH OF CRIME ON VICTIMS? WHAT ARE THE RESULTS? ln our Program we measure efficiency and effectiveness by the average number of days it takes to process a claim. Time starts from the date the application is entered into the computer and ends when an offer is made on a claim. From September 2000 through October 2001 the average number of days to process a claim has gone from forty-two days go thirty-seven days. Processing time is automated means and it is actual time.
