A. EFFORTS TO PROMOTE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE AID TO CRIME VICTIMS: Coordination of services is constantly being stressed amoung all funded programs. This is discussed in length during the site visits of all programs. A list is provided of the coordinating agencies and how they work together in providing services. It is also discussed how services are coordinated and not duplicated in the community.

B. EFFORTS TAKEN TO SERVE FEDERAL CRIME VICTIMS: Contact has been made with the victim witness coordinators in the U. S. Attorney's Office in reference to federal crime victims. They received a list of all VOCA programs in their area and can make direct referrals when necessary.

C. ACTIVITIES TO IMPROVE THE DELIVERY OF VICTIM SERVICES: All programs are monitored on a yearly basis. Site visits are completed with each individual program. All program are encouraged to include some type of program evaluation either internal or external. The majority of the programs do some type of victim survey. Statewide training is done yearly with the Attorney General's Office and all current programs are encouraged to attend. This is the biggist conference of its type in the state.

D. WAYS VOCA FUNDS HAVE BEEN USED TO ASSIST CRIME VICTIMS: Case Histories were provided about services provided victims. These included: Elder Abuse, Domestic Violence, and Child Abuse.

E. ISSUES OR TRENDS IMPACTING CRIME VICTIM SERVICES: Efforts have been made from the Governor's Office to establish Children Advocacy Centers in all of the fifteen regions of the state. Victims are notified through the V.I.N.E. program. Megan's law is also a notification program. Communities are becoming more invilved with victim issues through the multidisciplinary teams and coordinating councils. There has been a movement through Full Faith & Credit for a uniformity in protective orders that include the surrounding state of Kentucky. Efforts are also being made to reach the Hispanic community that has grown by leaps and bounds in our state.

F. USE OF VOCA ADMINISTRATIVE FUNDS: Administrative funds have been used for statewide conferences. The focus of the conferences is for the improvement of victim services.
