Abstract
The papers discussed United Nations actions in this area, international cooperation, the prerequisites for computerization, and the benefits of computerization. Additional topics included the planning of computerization, the implementation of computer systems, the United Nations Criminal Justice Information Network, the infrastructure involved in successful computerization, and a resolution on computerization of criminal justice information. Other presentations focused on the efforts in Australia, Canada, Colombia, Cuba, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, India, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
