The Criminological Unit deals with issues including crime damages and victimization, the statistical analysis of registered crime, self-reported criminality, mediation, community service, police crime investigations, insurance fraud, and research aimed at supporting the planned total reform of the criminal code. The General Unit deals with issues of general legal policy including consumer legislation, consumer credits and debt recovery, legal services access, family law, and the development of the law as an instrument of social change.
