JUSTICE DEPARTMENT PUBLICATION PROVIDES TIPS

FOR PARENTS ON CLUB DRUGS

The Justice Department?s Office of Justice Programs (OJP) announced today the availability of a new brochure, Tips for Parents: The Truth About Club Drugs.? ?We must give parents the information to recognize drug abuse and the resources to combat it.? America?s youth are too precious to be lost to the perils of substance abuse,? said Attorney General Ashcroft.? The brochure describes the drugs, their street names and their effects.? It also provides resources for parents who suspect drug use or who want to learn more about the prevention and treatment of illegal drug use.
