WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Summer 2001 list of Forbes Favorites: Best of the Web included the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Web site on Children with Disabilities.? It is one of eight sites chosen? by the Forbes editors to be winners in the Health Category.

The Web site includes topics covering the basic needs of children with disabilities such as health, housing, education, and employment, as well as technical assistance and legal advocacy. Additionally, the Web site provides a state-by-state index on a wide range of organizations offering relevant services and information.

The Web site is one of two sites developed with the support of the Coordinating Council on Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention.? The other Web site, launched in 2000, is the Parenting Resources for the 21^st Century.? Through this Web site, the Council strives to provide parents with on-line links to federal, state and local resources and information that can help them meet the challenges of raising children.
