QUARTERLY MEETING OF THE COORDINATING COUNCIL ON JUVENILE JUSTICE AND DELINQUENCY PREVENTION ANNOUNCED

WASHINGTON - Jeff Slowikowski, Acting Administrator, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention will chair the public session of the quarterly meeting of the Coordinating Council on Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (Council) on Friday, December 3, at 12:00 pm EST. The Council, whose membership includes representatives from 12 federal agencies and nine practitioners, coordinates federal delinquency prevention programs, federal programs and activities that detain or care for unaccompanied juveniles, and federal programs relating to missing and exploited children.

During this meeting, the Council will receive updates on their priority issues and hear from representatives of the Chicago Area Project (CAP)?a network of more than 50 grassroots organizations and special projects aimed at promoting positive youth development and preventing juvenile delinquency through advocacy, community organizing, and direct services.
