JUSTICE DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCES WEB-BASED RESOURCE
FOR CRIMINAL JUSTICE FIELD

WASHINGTON - The Department of Justice's Office of Justice Programs (OJP) today announced the availability of a new online resource for prospective grantees. OJP Grants 101 features step-by-step guidance on how to apply for funding.

"We hope OJP Grants 101 will provide practical, Web-based assistance to our partners in the field," said OJP Assistant Attorney General Laurie O. Robinson. "This is part of OJP's commitment to make the grant application process more accessible and transparent."

OJP Grants 101 provides:

• An overview of the OJP grant process for competitive and non-competitive programs;
• Tips on how to find funding opportunities and write strong applications;
• A description of the application review process; and
• Links to other resources, including the OJP Financial Guide and sample application materials.
