Important Message from the Office of the Chief Financial Officer about PAPRS
In June of 2010 OJP released a new Grant Payment Request System (GPRS) that replaces the Phone Activated Paperless Request System PAPRS. As of February 28, 2011 the PAPRS phone system will be discontinued. GPRS is available and provides OJP, OVW and COPS grantees the ability to perform online draw down requests utilizing a secure OJP website. GPRS has many new features that will enhance the grantee's ability to manage awards. Some benefits of GPRS are:
- The ability to view and print a transaction history for an award.
- A Summary of award information such as Award Amount, Hold Amounts, Last FFR Submission and Available Balance.
- The ability to cancel pending payment requests.
- Secure individual log in.
To register for GPRS, simply go to https://grants.ojp.usdoj.gov/gprs/login, select the "New Registration Link", and have your GMS username and password available.
