As you know, federal funding for Fiscal Year 2011 has been reduced, to include the Weed and Seed Program. Therefore, the Community Capacity Development Office (CCDO) will be closing as of June 5th, 2011. Its staff has been reassigned to other offices within the Office of Justice Programs (OJP). In this period of transition, OJP is committed to supporting existing grantees until the end of the grant award period by providing grant management and oversight.
Until June 5th, CCDO will continue to provide training and technical assistance that has already been scheduled. Training and technical assistance after June 5th is still under consideration; we will provide you information on such offerings as soon as these decisions have been made. Your grant may be reassigned to another grant manager over the coming few weeks; you will be notified promptly if such a decision is made. In the meantime, should you have any questions regarding your grant, please reach out to your current grants manager, who will have the same contact information.
