DOJ Announces FY2010 Coordinated Tribal Assistance Solicitation (CTAS): This consolidated solicitation includes DOJ agencies’ available tribal government-specific competitive grant programs. Tribes need only submit one application for all funding opportunities in the solicitation. DOJ’s simplified application process, which responds to the needs of tribal leaders, includes OVC's Tribal Elder Outreach Program. Deadline for applications is May 13, 2010.

The National Crime Prevention Council and the National Center for Victims of Crime are seeking applicants for the OVC-supported Underserved Teen Victims Initiative project. Twenty-five local youth-adult teams will be selected to participate during the 2010-2011 school year and will receive up to $2,500 to plan and implement a youth-led public awareness campaign on services available to teenage victims of crime.
