The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009

Government-Wide Data Reporting Requirements

As noted previously, Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act requires that recipients submit activity reports on the use of Recovery Act funding through the Government-wide data collection system at http://www.FederalReporting.gov. The FederalReporting.gov website provides a guide for usage and frequent updates regarding use of the system.

  • As a recipient, you must register as an authorized party prior to submitting or reviewing activity reports at http://www.FederalReporting.gov.
  • Since registration requires that you be registered in CCR and have a valid DUNS number, recipients that do not already meet these requirements are encouraged to register no later than 35 days prior to the end of the quarter.
  • The registration process may take up to 8 days. When you have successfully concluded website registration, you will receive an email confirmation.

Direct recipients and delegated subrecipients (see the section on Delegation of Reporting Requirements Under the Recovery Act) that have not submitted their reports by the end of the 10th day will be considered in noncompliance with the reporting requirements.
