The National District Attorney's Association will host a two-day virtual training on August 5 and 6, 2024, Building and Improving Relationships between Youth and Law Enforcement: Strategies for Effective Programs and Collaborations. The event will feature presentations from police departments and non-profit organizations that run programs focused on developing and improving relationships between youth and law enforcement. Presentation topics will include an analysis and history of youth-law enforcement relationships, ways to incorporate the voice of youth when planning programs, and examples of successful youth-law enforcement programs currently in existence.
