Child Abduction Tabletop Exercise

The goal of this training is to build a level of cohesiveness within the team while responding to a report of an endangered, missing, or abducted child. Participants will take part in a multidisciplinary tabletop exercise built around a realistic abduction scenario.

Participants will work through initial deployment, response, investigation, recovery and reunification procedures utilizing appropriate local resources. Exercises will conclude with completion of an after-action report to capture observations.

Upon completion of this training, you will be able to:

  • Develop and deploy effective response strategies in missing and abducted child cases
  • Identify and leverage and coordinate community resources in an effective team response
  • Adapt the appropriate investigative response as the investigative environment changes
