Creating an Interjurisdictional Taskforce to Address Emerging Trends

Like many jurisdictions, Cook County, IL, has experienced a disturbing rise in youth committing carjacking offenses, and prosecutors and law enforcement there have undertaken many initiatives to address the issue. One of these initiatives is the creation of an interjurisdictional carjacking taskforce.

In this webinar, members of the taskforce will discuss efforts by the Cook County’s interjurisdictional collaboration to prevent and solve crimes. This interactive panel presentation will include details on how the taskforce works and how to assemble such a taskforce.
