FY25 Public Safety and Mental Health Initiative

This webinar will provide an overview of the Bureau of Justice Assistance's (BJA) FY25 Public Safety and Mental Health Initiative (PSMHI) funding opportunity and application process.

The PSMHI program supports comprehensive service networks addressing untreated mental illness and substance use at the intersection of mental health, substance use, and justice systems through four core areas: (1) crisis stabilization centers; (2) treatment services; (3) housing access; and (4) electronic health record systems and technology modernization, promoting improved public safety and reducing the burden on law enforcement and the justice system.
