Pee Wee's Run - Kicking off National Crime Victims' Rights Week

Pee Wee's Run is named after KC Mothers in Charge Founder and Executive Director Rosilyn Temple's son, Antonio "Pee Wee" Thompson, who was found murdered in his apartment in 2011. This annual 5K will kick off National Crime Victims' Rights Week, a week dedicated to promoting victims' rights and honoring crime victims.

The 5K route will begin at Bruce R. Watkins Cultural Heritage Center and pass by Pee Wee's old apartment and end at the Spirit of Freedom Fountain where there will be a post-race celebration.
