This training is designed for law enforcement and search personnel who have responsibilities for managing and conducting canvassing and search operations involving missing and abducted children cases.

Recognize crucial cell phone and technology-related evidence that can help locate the child and track the abductor. Explore relevant legal issues associated with criminal cases against those who abduct and harm children. Participate in hands-on exercises designed to test your knowledge and application of the material.

Upon completion of this training, you will be able to:

  • Construct, manage, and conduct effective search and canvass operations
  • Identify and utilize information from cell phones and other technology-related evidence to aid in the child recovery and offender arrest
  • Recognize legal issues which may arise in missing children cases
  • Apply information learned during the hands-on practical exercise
