Webinar: NIJ FY26 Evaluation of the Effectiveness of the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) Byrne State Crisis Intervention Program (SCIP) NOFO

The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) is pleased to announce a new FY26 Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) that seeks proposals for research and evaluation to assess the effectiveness of programs funded under fiscal years 2022-2026 BJA’s Byrne SCIP.

This NOFO invites applications proposing a two-phased evaluation strategy to assess Byrne SCIP. The approach includes:

• Phase I: Evaluability Assessments
• Phase II: An Evaluation of the Byrne SCIP’s Effectiveness
