The Office of Justice Programs' (OJP) Fiscal Year 2015 Program Plan is an easy-to-use resource designed to help researchers identify appropriate funding sources for their initiatives.
Abstract
The U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs (OJP) provides Federal leadership in developing the nation's capacity to prevent and control crime by improving the criminal and juvenile justice systems, increasing knowledge about crime and related issues, and assisting crime victims. The OJP Program Plan describes the grant opportunities OJP intends to fund in FY 2015. The Congressional appropriation that supports OJP's programs and operations reflects the priorities of the President, the Attorney General, and Congress. OJP's Assistant Attorney General ensures that OJP policies and programs reflect these priorities. The resource is divided into 10 sections on aspects of the criminal justice system, as well as 4 appendices and a listing of all OJP funding programs. Detailed instructions, an index, and complete contact information is also provided.
