In order to facilitate community participation in the commemoration of the 40th anniversary of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW) April 18-24, 2021, this Resource Guide provides an array of outreach tools and sample materials intended to assist in implementing a NCVRW awareness campaign and other public awareness campaigns throughout the year.
The resources focus on this year’s NCVRW theme of “Support Victims. Build Trust. Engage Communities.” Following an overview of the Resource Guide, online access is provided to resources on developing an NCVRW campaign; communicating the message of the NCVRW; landmarks in Victims’ Rights and Services; and NCVRW artwork for theme posters, awareness posters, and web presentations. Additional online resources address sources for accurate, current information, and training. on crime victim issues, as well as the features of the national partners who helped promote this year’s guide. The Gallery of the federal Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) provides online access to multimedia from previous NCVRW Resource Guides.
