This online resource from the Office of Justice Programs, Office for Victims of Crime contains replicable Spanish-language tools and resources for use by service providers to improve their cultural competence and the accessibility of their services for Spanish-speaking victims of sexual violence. The site has six major sections: About the Toolkit contains background information on the Existe Ayuda project and the challenges faced by service providers for victims of sexual violence; Glossaries contains a list of Spanish terms related to sexual assault and trafficking; Presentations contains PowerPoint slides used in presentations to promotoras (community health workers) and victim advocates; Tools contains information on how to put together a victims' rights pocket card, sexual harassment handout, fact sheets on sexual assault, and scripts for public service announcements and outgoing answering machine messages; Message from the Director discusses the need for this site; and Related Resources contains links to additional resources for community health workers and service providers.
