This report present the Fiscal Year 2010 Program Plan from the Office of Justice Programs.
Abstract
The Office of Justice Programs' (OJP) Fiscal Year 2010 Program Plan provides information on funding opportunities and new initiatives available from OJP. The plan contains the latest and most complete information about the resources available to fight crime, improve the criminal justice system in the United States, and provide assistance to victims of crime. The report is divided into 10 sections: Section 1 - Preventing Crime and Empowering Communities To Address Crime; Section 2 - Breaking the Cycles of Mental Illness, Substance Abuse, and Crime; Section 3 - Preventing and Intervening in Juvenile Offending and Victimization; Section 4 - Managing Offenders To Reduce Recidivism and Promote Successful Reentry; Section 5 - Effective Interventions To Address Violence, Victimization, and Victims' Rights; Section 6 - Enhancing Law Enforcement Initiatives; Section 7 - Supporting Innovation in Adjudication; Section 8 - Countering Terrorism and Domestic Emergencies; Section 9 - Advancing Technology To Prevent and Solve Crime; and Section 10 - Innovations in Justice Information Sharing. Each section provides a list of funding opportunities.
