This report describes the upgrades achieved at the Forensic Laboratory of the Rhode Island State Health Department under a Federal grant.
Abstract
The Forensic Laboratory at the Rhode Island State Health Department used funding from this grant to upgrade computer hardware, networks, and software and evidence examination facilities. These enhancements resulted in a 20 percent increase of network performance, an improvement in evidence labeling capability, report formatting, and the collection of statistics.
