Abstract
FOLLOWING AN INTRODUCTION WHICH PRESENTS THE STUDY METHODOLOGY AND STATE POPULATION AND CRIME STATISTICS, THE AUTHORS PRESENT AN OVERVIEW OF ARIZONA'S ADULT CORRECTIONS SYSTEM, FOLLOWED BY COMMENTS ON EACH OF THE STATE'S ADULT CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTIONS. FINDINGS RELATED TO TOPICS SUCH AS CLASSIFICATION, HOUSING, REHABILITATION PROGRAMS, INMATE/STAFF RELATIONS, DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURES, AND MEDICAL AND HEALTH CARE ARE INCLUDED. CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS ARE THEN PRESENTED.
