Abstract
Each year, the Australian Institute of Criminology and the Criminology Research Council are required by the Australian Parliament to provide information to stakeholders and the community about their work. The information in this annual report is intended for use by Members of Parliament, the Australian Government, State and territory agencies, the media, grant recipients, consultants, criminal justice students, potential employees, and the general public. This volume contains two reports, one on the Australian Institute of Criminology (AIC) and the second on the Criminology Research Council (CRC). The report from the AIC is divided into five sections: year in review, agency overview, performance review, accountability and management, and appendixes.
