THIS REPORT EXAMINES THE RECORD-KEEPING PROCEDURES AND CAPABILITIES OF CHELAN COUNTY (WA) LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES AND MAKES RECOMMENDATIONS REGARDING THE CONSOLIDATION OF RECORD KEEPING EFFORTS IN CHELAN COUNTY.
Abstract
THE REPORT IS DATED JUNE 4, 1973. THE POPULATION OF CHELAN COUNTY WAS 41,000 IN 1970; HOWEVER, THE POPULATION SERVED BY THE STUDY NUMBERS ABOUT 83,000. THE RECORDS SYSTEMS OF CHELAN, OKANOGAN, AND DOUGLAS COUNTIES WERE STUDIED. RECOMMENDATIONS WERE MADE NOT ONLY FOR AN INTRA-COUNTY REGIONALIZED RECORD KEEPING CENTER, BUT FOR A TRI-COUNTY RECORD CENTER.
