An annotated bibliography of selected literature on child sexual abuse and incest is provided.
Abstract
The 68 citations produced between 1965 and 1978 include articles that have been influential in the literature, recent books and articles, and some unpublished materials. Annotations are grouped under the following headings: general; incidence; trauma; definitional and theoretical issues; etiology, family dynamics, and offender characteristics; case management, including medical, social, and legal aspects; prevention; and bibliographies. Materials covering a broad range of issues are cross-referenced by citation number; and the annotations provide a guide to the intent and coverage of the articles. An author citation number index also is provided.
