OUTLINES, QUIZZES, TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION, AND EXCERPTS AND NARRATIVES ON EACH UNIT ARE PRESENTED. THE FOUR BASIC UNITS ARE LAW, CITIZENSHIP RESPONSIBILITY, AND THE PROBLEM OF THE LAW BREAKER, THE LAW-BREAKER AND PRISON CONFINEMENT, YOUTH AND THE LAW, AND LAW ENFORCEMENT EDUCATION, CODE OF ETHICS, THE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER. IN ADDITION THERE IS A UNIT FOR TEACHER REFERENCE AND USAGE ON LEGAL SAFEGUARDS TO FREEDOM. TEXTBOOK REFERENCES AND FILMS ARE LISTED.
