Abstract
THIS REPORT DESCRIBES THE STATUS OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S COMMON LAW POWERS IN THE 54 JURISDICTIONS (WHICH INCLUDE GUAM, PUERTO RICO, SOMOA, AND THE VIRGIN ISLANDS). A LIST OF CASES WITH CITATIONS IS ARRANGED BY JURISDICTION IN THE APPENDIX. THE STATUTORY, HISTORICAL AND CONSTITUTIONAL BASES OF SUCH POWERS ARE ALSO REVIEWED.
