Abstract
THIS IS ONE OF A SERIES OF MONOGRAPHS FROM THE COURTHOUSE REORGANIZATION AND RENOVATION PROGRAM OF NEW YORK STATE. COMPONENT PARTS OF THE COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM ARE - (1) AN INTEGRATED NETWORK OF INFORMATION SIGNS AND OTHER VISUAL DEVICES, (2) PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM THAT PROVIDE ALL ESSENTIAL INFORMATION CONCERNING CASES SCHEDULED, (3) INFORMATION SYSTEMS WITH HISTORICAL AND CURRENT CASE INFORMATION FOR AUTOMATIC AND INSTANTANEOUS RETRIEVAL, AND (4) SECURITY COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS THAT PROVIDE OPTIMUM SECURITY FOR COURT BUILDINGS AT MINIMUM EXPENSE.
