Abstract

In this podcast, the Tribal Youth Resource Center (TYRC) Young Leaders interview Administrator Liz Ryan of the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP). TYRC Young Leaders ask Administrator Ryan to reflect on issues of concern to Native youth and communities. Administrator Ryan shares about her background as an advocate for youth and juvenile justice reform, her commitment to her job as a presidential appointee, her support for Native Youth, what inspired her at the 2022 OJJDP Tribal Youth National and the importance of involving youth and families in programs and policies that affect them.
