This corrections standards supplement contains additions, revisions, deletions, and interpretations for the manuals of standards published between 1979 and 1983 by the American Correctional Association in cooperation with the Commission on Accreditation for Corrections.
Abstract
Modifications in standards for adult corrections include parole authorities, community residential services, probation and parole field services, correctional institutions, and local detention facilities. For juvenile corrections, standards modifications cover community residential facilities, probation and aftercare services, detention facilities, and training schools. A summary of changes is listed, with indications as to whether the standard has been added, deleted, revised, or interpreted. A glossary is provided along with forms for submitting proposals for the revision of standards.
