Abstract
IN DEFINING CRIMINAL JUSTICE FOR ENTRY COLLECTION, COMPILERS TOOK A BROAD, COMPREHENSIVE VIEW. SUBJECT CATEGORIES INCLUDE CORRECTIONS, THE COURTS, JUVENILE DELINQUENCY, DRUGS AND ALCOHOL, AND ADDITIONAL PERIPHERAL AREAS. THE BIBLIOGRAPHY IS INTENDED FOR A DIVERSE AUDIENCE AND IS ARRANGED BY THE SPECIFIED LARGE CATEGORIES FOR EASY BROWSING. WITHIN EACH CATEGORY, THE 621 ENTRIES ARE ARRANGED IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER, ACCORDING TO THE AUTHOR'S LAST NAME. IN ADDITION, THERE ARE TWO MAIN INDEXES (AUTHOR AND SUBJECT) TO ALLOW ACCESS IN A MORE SPECIFIC MANNER. MANY AGENCIES, LIBRARIES, ORGANIZATIONS, AND INDIVIDUALS THROUGHOUT THE STATE WERE CONTACTED FOR MATERIALS. TYPES OF MATERIALS INCLUDE BOOKS, REPORTS, STUDIES, INFORMATION SYSTEMS, AND AUDIOVISUAL MATERIALS. IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT THE BIBLIOGRAPHY WILL BE UPDATED ANNUALLY. SOME OF THE TITLES LISTED CONCERN THE INSIDE OF WASHINGTON PRISONS, REHABILITATION, THE ENTRAPMENT DEFENSE, AND JURY SELECTION MANUALS. (LWM)
