Abstract
The NIJ Data Resources Program (DRP) collects, preserves, and disseminates data from NIJ grantees for further analyses by other researchers. Datasets collected through NIJ-funded research are archived and made available to support new research to reproduce original findings, replicate original conclusions, or test new hypotheses. The DRP also supports analysis of archived data through secondary analysis grants. The abstract for each dataset follows a common format, providing information on the basic purpose and methodology of the original research, the unit of observation, the number of records, the number of variables, and the geographic and temporal coverage of the research. Information about the file structure and publications derived from the data is also provided. The abstracts are organized alphabetically by principal investigator, and a topical index is provided, along with an index of all principal investigators.
