Abstract
DISCUSSED ARE THE THREE MODES OF COMMUNICATION (SYMBOLIC, VERBAL, AND NON-VERBAL) AND HOW THEY ARE USED. THE VARIOUS TYPES OF DECISION MAKING ARE ALSO EXAMINED. THESE INCLUDE LACK OF RESPONSE, AUTHORITY RULE, MINORITY RULE, MAJORITY RULE, CONSENSUS, AND UNANIMOUS CONSENT. SEVERAL MODELS FOR DECISION MAKING ARE ALSO DESCRIBED.
