This directory of approximately 2,000 U.S. labor arbitrators contains their biographies and a State-by-State alphabetical listing.
Abstract
This directory, used in conjunction with other electronic and printed services of the Bureau of National Affairs, Inc., is intended to accelerate arbitrator selection or the establishment of a permanent panel of arbitrators to be used on a rotating basis. The biographies, prepared by the arbitrators, appear as submitted to the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service as of February 1985. Each biography includes the arbitrator's address and phone number, profession, education, professional certification, experience on permanent panels, arbitrated issues, and arbitrated industries. The directory also contains the Code of Professional Responsibility for Arbitrators, procedures and rules of the American Arbitration Association and the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, and sample agreements for the selection of panel arbitrators and the mediation of grievances.
