Abstract
The slides in this document present information from a Webinar discussing Drug Court Treatment Services: Applying Research Findings to Practice. There were four topics covered in the Webinar: 1) drug court and treatment outcomes; 2) components of effective drug court treatment; 3) evidence-based practices: what is the impact on treatment; and 4) what we know and don't know about drug court treatment: next steps for research. Participants at the Webinar included court administrators, judges, probation officers, social workers, researchers, treatment providers, and other stakeholders. The relevant research findings covered in the Webinar were 1) the impact of drug courts on participant outcomes; 2) the impact of substance abuse treatment for offenders; and 3) the use of evidence-based practices have an impact on treatment outcomes.
