Abstract
This report describes Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) support programs for Federal, State, and local investigators: the creation of a National Response Team, forensic laboratory as well as computerized support, explosives technology support, criminal investigative analysis, the organization of an International Response Team, and a commitment to explosives/arson training. Tables present data on explosives incidents and stolen explosives and their recoveries. The report reviews significant explosives investigations and outlines program initiatives in several areas: explosives interdiction, drug-related initiatives, arson enforcement initiatives, and abortion clinic initiatives. It contains a directory of ATF offices and a glossary of terms. 7 figures and 22 tables
