This Monthly Management Report (July 1993) of the Florida Department of Corrections covers the inmate population (existing and projected), inmate admissions and releases, postrelease supervision, death row inmates, and inmate escapes and recaptures.
Abstract
One table shows the total inmate population as of July 1993 (51,543), the number of transients, the projected inmate population without early release for each month from July 1993 through June 1994. Another table shows the number of inmates with various types of release for July 1993. The monthly movement summary shows the number of offenders involved in various types of movement for each type of institution. Other tables address the inmate population for each institution as of July 1993 and escapes and recaptures for each institution for July 1993. The projected inmate population without early release for June 1994 is 72,943; and the projected inmate population with early release for the same month is 55,053. Regarding escapes in July 1993, there were seven from major institutions, none from road prisons, nine from community corrections centers, four from vocational centers, and one from drug facilities.
