This Fact Sheet of the U.S. Justice Department’s Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) summarizes fiscal year (FY) 2022 solicitations for BJA programs that support some aspect of behavioral health through criminal justice resources.

 

Abstract

Resources related to behavioral health are available under the following BJA programs: 1) Adult Drug Court Discretionary Grant Program; 2) Collaborative Crisis Response and Intervention Training Program; 3) BJA Visiting Fellows Program; 4) Community Based Violence Intervention and Prevention Initiative; 4) Community Courts Initiative; 5) Connect and Protect: Law Enforcement Behavioral Health Response Program; 6) Comprehensive Opioid, Stimulant, and Substance Abuse Site-based Program; 7) Field Initiated: Encouraging Innovation; 8) Harold Rogers Prescription Drug Monitoring Program; 9) Justice and Mental Health Collaboration Program; 10) Improving Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery Outcomes for Adults in Reentry Program; 11) The Kevin and Avonte Program: Reducing Injury and Death of Missing Individuals with Dementia and Developmental Disabilities; 12) Residential Substance Abuse Treatment for State Prisoners Program; and 13) Veterans Treatment Court Discretionary Grant Program.
