This “Fact Sheet” presented by the U.S. Department of Justice’s Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) presents summaries of the BJA program solicitations for fiscal year (FY) 2022 that provide resources of particular relevance to courts.

 

Abstract

FY 2022 BJA solicitations that support courts are summarized for the following BJA programs: 1) Adult Drug Court Discretionary Grant Program; 2) Comprehensive Opioid, Stimulant, and Substance Abuse Site-based Program; 3) Community Courts Initiative; 4) Emmett Till Cold Case Investigations and Prosecution Program; 5) Field Initiated: Encouraging Innovation; 6) Matthew Shepard and James Byrd, Jr. Hate Crimes Program; 7) National Initiatives in Justice and Mental Health: Training and Technical Assistance for Grantees and the Field; 8) Justice and Mental Health Collaboration Program; 9) Paul Coverdell Forensic Science Improvement Grants Program; 10) Prosecuting Cold Cases Using DNA Program; 11) Veterans Treatment Court Discretionary Grant Program; and 12) Upholding the Rule of Law and Preventing Wrongful Convictions Program.
