Abstract

This Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) solicitation overview provides information to potential applicants for FY 2024 Improving Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery Outcomes for Adults in Reentry funding. State, city or township, county, special district, and Native American tribal governments (federally recognized), as well as nonprofits that are not institutions of higher education may apply. Successful applicants will receive funding to establish, expand, or improve treatment and recovery support services for people with substance use disorders (SUDs) or co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders during their incarceration and upon reentry into their communities. BJA encourages agencies that have not previously received BJA funding and convening or governing bodies that can apply on behalf of one or more entities to apply.
